We had a fun family trip this weekend in College Station. We went to watch and support Joey's cousin, Caleb, who runs track for LSU. Yeah, he is talented for sure to be a collegiate athlete for one but two to be running track for LSU, who is renown for track and field and three to be successful and a major contributor to the team. He ran the fastest indoor 400m time in the nation currently with a time of 46.60. We enjoyed watching him run and are excited to see what he will do this year and next year.
Jordan loved the track meet. I was surprised how much he was memorized by the runners and jumpers. He is ALL about running/racing ALL the time. When asked outside, "what do you want to do?" his response 9 out of 10 times is "run" But when Caleb asked him if he wanted to race, Jordan said, "no". I think Jordan finally met his match. I think he watched him run and realized someone really might be faster than me. Glad he saw it for himself, because mommy and daddy have tried to tell him for months now.
