From 4 to 7

This post is a week late but with a family of 7 I never had a moment to sit down at a computer let alone by myself. My parents went on a mini vacation and we inherited my three younger sisters for four days. There was never a dull moment and most of the time was spent on the go getting "one of our kids" to and from here and there. To say the least I needed a vacation after their vacation. We enjoyed the time with my sisters and I know my mom enjoyed the break away from her motherly duties. Jordan was the saddest and continued to ask "where are we going now?" and when I responded to "our house" he asked if we could go to grandma's instead.

By far his favorite at the Spring Fest, the basketball hoop was way too high for him, but he continued to shoot for atleast a half hour.

Mama comes to visit

Mini Michael Phelps

8th grade dance

Love these two beautiful girls, but they are definitely making me feel old. I love my family and the fact that we live so close. It is a blessing!!!

Touch a Truck

Jordan and his buddy Aidan had a blast with daddy at this Touch a Truck event. They had monster trucks, fire engines, Home Security vehicles, military trucks and so many more. Jordan is all about cars, trucks and really any mode of transportation at this point. What a perfect event for our truck lover!!!

Cinco de Mayo

I am so blessed to have a wonderful chef in my husband. Look at what he made me to celebrate Cinco de Mayo!!! It tasted as wonderful as it looks. YUMMY!!!

Go Tigers!!!

We enjoyed a family outing at the Klein Collins baseball playoff game. Shocking enough we made it through the entire game from 7 to about 9. It was nice to enjoy a Friday night under the lights supporting some of Joey's former student and watching a great game. He enjoyed being out there seeing his former students and coworkers.  I was surprised to see Jordan really into the game. Talking about the teams by their colors-The gray team and white team and sometimes he referred to the gray team as the blue team because they wore blue helmets.  He enjoyed walking the 1st basemen "get" the guys. "Ewww He got em" was a famous quote, referring to the 1st baseman tagging the runner. In the 5th inning a homerun was hit and after that he wanted/assumed all the other batters to hit homeruns. Fun night with the family!!!

Oil Ranch

Jordan and Julia had a wonderful time at the Oil Ranch. They enjoyed riding ponies, taking the train out to see the animals and hitching a ride on the tractor to feed the cows. Jordan enjoyed a quick splash in the pool to cool off before heading home. It was a great experience and we were thrilled to enjoy it with such wonderful friends. Thanks Jess C for organizing the event and capturing some wonderful memories!
