Blueberry Pickin' 2012

We are so thankful for Mrs. Nikki organizing an amazing trip to the Moorhead Bluebbery Farm. Jordan loved that he could eat while he picked and in the end I believe he ate way more than he picked. Either way he had a great time and it was extra special for him and Julia to have their Aunt Alexi and Aunt Sarah join us. They were such a big help to mommy, thanks!!!

I LOVE these two guys! Jaxon and Jordan had a blast together picking and exploring roly polies.

Family Camp WOCC 2012

We are so blessed to have wonderful friends in our lives to invite us to an amazing event. We enjoyed a weekend filled with games, Bible lessons, and spending time with friends. Jordan and Julia LOVED their first Family Camp! Julia wanted to spend every minute bear crawling around the dirty ground while Jordan wanted to go go go all the time. They loved staying up late and getting to play with their friends.

Father's Day Weekend 2012

After an amazing week attending VBS at WOCC, we headed to Louisiana for the father's day weekend. Jordan had a BLAST!!! The "country" life is perfect for our little boy and our adventurous baby girl!

Four wheeler, excavator, cars ramp, working on the truck, a riding lawn mower, first boat ride, and learning how to fish are just a few of the ingredients to an amazing weekend making memories with family.

Minutes upon arriving and they went straight for the car ramp

Next morning, ramp was first choice again and some car racing on the TV

Racing with Papa-Jordan won almost every time because of his "Nitro" extra boost

Not wanting to take much of a break from playing outside so snack was brought outside

Transportation Week

Thanks my wonderful friend Brook who thought of a wonderful idea to come up with themed lesson plans for the summer!!! Thank you so much for encouraging me to get organized. Jordan more than enjoyed the first weeks theme:Transportation. He kept asking me, "whats next mommy?" "another portation(meant to be transportation) lesson mommy."
I took some pics throughout the week but his excitement was captured in my heart when he would ask for more. There is no question this boy LOVES to learn, so mommy is doing her best to stay two steps ahead of him.

Map learning-direction, States, modes of transportation, land/water

I was very impressed that he didn't need ANY help!

Dump Truck Brownies
He was SOOOO excited to delivery/dump his brownies on the table.

Bus ride turned into a train ride around the house to delivery laundry throughout the house.

It is amazing how the little things can put a HUGE smile on their faces.

These smiling faces make every hard moment worth it.

New to us swingset

A couple of weeks ago I found a free wooden swing set online, so Joey and our wonderful neighbor Rusty went to pick it up. It needed some minor care and some cleaning, but free is free.

Joey spent quality time fixing a few things here and there and setting it up this week. So thankful for a handy husband and one who was happy to take on the project. We still have some more staining to finish but it is up and running and the kids are already loving it. It was worth every minute to hear Jordan say "You did it daddy"(when it was done) and "I like your painting mommy"(referring to my staining).
